Christmas parties with no clothes to wear

Hey everyone, I am working on a slight problem. I have 4 Christmas parties coming up and I have absolutely no clothes to wear. That includes, bra, top and bottoms.........BUT I AM SO EXCITED I ALMOST WANT TO GO NAKED !   Well not really, but I am very excited. My DH asked me what I wanted for Christmas and I told him " nothing, I have my gift already, my sleeve". So he said, well what about clothes.....and I said.....gift cards then, if you insist. Seriously though, I just cannot express how I am feeling and I want to shout it from the rooftops. This is the best gift I have ever recieved and I have never in my life felt better. I just wanted to share my happiness with all my fellow loosers.

Good for you! Ain't it great? I have given 7 garbage bags of clothes away and there are another 3-4 ready to go. I thank God for Value Village.  Yesterday I bought a London Fog coat in my favorite color. It was so new that there wasn't even lint in the pocket. It is a size 16 (I can't believe it), and only $25.00!!

Hi there I know how you fell.Iam down from a 22 too a 18 and my friend is going to give me some clothes to wear for christmas,Glad to have to have her.Keep up the good work.

 Over the years there have been many parties with "nothing to wear"  albeit for different reasons.  Having nothing to wear because everything is too BIG is wonderful.  I so agree - what a gift!!!

I know - ain't it great! I'm now in a 12 from a 22/24. I actually had a ball shopping last week - dress pants, cords, some dressier tops, bras, undies - and noticed this morning when going to work that my high leather boots are fitting SO loose on my legs. I can't ever remember having high boots that I could zip up effortlessly. And I haven't worn cords since way back in High School. Got some new Christmas print scrubs too! I do love to shop!
