I have a date for my surgery

Had my pre-op workup done this past wednesday, and start the midi-trim Dec.1st, for my surgery, on Dec.15th. I am so excited, and hopeful. A bit scared too. 

That is so awesome....so happy for you...before you know it it will be over and you will be on the loosers bench.  I go on December 3rd for my first visit to see Dr. B.  I can't wait.

Wow, I'll bet you are not a bit excited either. LOL  I am so happy for you. OMG it's almost here. You will be all done by Christmas. (Awesome Christmas gift) You will be on the road to a healthier life by the start of the new year. YAY

Hi!  I guess we are in the same place right now, I have surgery on Dec. 8th and I am on day two of Meditrim!  I wish you good luck, and if you need to talk I am here with you!!

Awesome!!  Best of luck!!  When did you sign your consent??  I signed mine in Sept with Dr B and am still waiting for that call...LOL...I realize there is a bit of a back log and what with H1N1 hosps are a bit overrun...
The Medi Trim scares me the most...but I know it will go by fast...all surgery is a bit nerve-racking isn't it???

after nearly a 5 yr wait, I had my 1st visit on July15th, went thru the process to where I signed my consent form on Sept.16th, I imagine you will hear soon, but you could call just to check with Dr. B's office. She may be able to give you some idea when it will be.

I had a long wait too. but a bit longer for the whole process for me...I had my first consult 23 Apr, had to go away for the month of May on my Sgt's course, was supposed to go for my info session in June, but was on Base Duty for the date she had for me, so I didn't get the info session in until August, and then I signed my consent for RNY on the 4th of Sept.  Tho I think Dr B's office is waiting for a copy of the pre approval from the military before he books me in...I've been at them since Sept to get it all auth and signed for, but still waiting...
