Why is this happening?

I am on my second day of Meditrim, and to be blunt, I have several bowel movements after I drink it.  Is this usual?  I have spent the last 5 years constantly constipated and feel very weird right now.  Help!

I am not sure about the effects but by what I have heard this is to help clean out your system and shrink your liver for the surgery...Keep the faith and everything will be just fine...we are all here for you...and my prayers are with you ...do you have a angel on here to keep us updated when you go in for your surgery as we will all be waiting patiently on your surgery day for word on how things went....if you don't just ask and there are plenty of us here to be the angel.

As long as you are not dehydrating yourself, it's not a problem.  Remember that all that is going in is liquid...so..... Are you lactose intolerent? I think it is whey there milk based.

If this continues call the nurses at Dumont. I am sure they have dealt with this before and no doubt they will have a solution. Better call today though because you may be in for a long miserable weekend if you can't get them until monday.

Which surgery are you having?

I am having a lapband on December 8th!  I will call the nurse today to make sure that everything is OK with the bathroom trips.  Thanks gals for all the support!

Day 2 started well with a shake for breakfast and a sick daughter to outpatients!  Let's hope the rest is smoother!
