O.T. too funny!

I had to run a million errands to day so I stopped for lunch at micky d's.  In front of me in line was a woman with her 6 or 7 year old little boy. This poor child was about double or more a good weight.  Anyway while we waited there he was fidgeting and restless. His mom leaned over to him and said "If you don't settle down and behave yourself, I'm going to get you a salad instead of a big mac". I was standing behind them and had to try to control myself from bursting out laughing. I've heard kids threatened with a lot of things in my day but never a salad. Hahaha. I was served beside him and his mom and when he heard me order a salad he gave me the strangest look. I suppose he wondered what I'd done wrong to have to eat a salad.  Oh my. Too funny

Sure enough when I sat down to eat there they were eating. This little guy with a full big mac meal and huge pop. Oh my.

That is equally as sad as it is funny. My girls loathe micky d's and always want subway. They always have a vegetarian sub with extra olives! I kid you not! I am greatful that they eat well and are all active kids. I have been very diligent in not passing along my bad habits. They will eat the vegetables in the stir-fry before touching the chicken! My son on the other hand, not that's a different story! LOL!!

The exchange was funny at the time but it is so sad really that this child is being taught that eating a salad is punishment.  This poor child was about 6 or 7 and I'll bet he weighed about 100 pounds or more. Not dissing anyone's eating habits but wow. He is in for a world of hurt.
