Well talk about an NSV....5 boxes of clothes....that's hundreds of dollars of Penningtons, Additionelle and Reitmans clothes.  Although this is an awesome NSV it is also a very costly one.

I am mourning my clothes.

Any and all sympathy will be gratefully accepted.

You know Sugarbear, with every item of oversize clothes you get rid of represents that much more  life you have given yourself. When you think of it in those terms, it might make chucking those clothes a little easier.

I know what you mean though. Last week I had to finally get rid of a size 32, 2 piece beautiful pant suit. It cost me a small fortune at Penningtons.  It was worn twice. The last 3 of my fat years, Additionelle did not have the sizes to fit me. I was into the biggest sizes Penningtons had too, Scary or what?

I feel your pain. It may be awesome to be a smaller size, we women get attached to our clothes. I have hung on to a few things that are way too big....including a pair of "where I started fat jeans'. I found it helped to give the clothing to someone I "knew" here on the board.  Lori, who used to post here , sold her clothing on Kijiji and make something like 500.00. She is an engineer so  I suspect she had lots of office clothes and the like to sell.
The high cost of clothing while losing is why I haunt Value Village and consignment shops right now.
