Got a new date

Nathalie called me on Friday with a new date for a fill. Going in December 2nd @ 1:30 or so. Anyone else going that day?

I have been working extra hard at the gym to minimize the possible effects. Yesterday though, I was able to eat a white, crusty roll with butter and cheese for lunch. Usually need to avoid bread like the plague!

Going for sushi for lunch with my youngest daughter after church. Healthier choice I'd say!

Wow, that's great. They must be starting back up again. The h1n1 must be inally winding down. Are you not able to eat bread? I don't eat a lot of bread but ever so often I do.

That is good news!  I spoke with Nathalie last week and she said that they were hoping to have the clinic open after this week.  I didn't realize that the rooms in the clinic were being used a additional hospital rooms to house those poor folks with H1N1.  Guess I just assumed that the clinic was shut down because of the risk of getting/giving the H1N1 virus.  Anyway, it is good to know that the fills will be restarting soon - hopefully without any other delays.  All I can say is I WISH I was going to be there on the 2nd of Dec.  It is all I can do right now to maintain.  I have been bouncing around the same 3 pounds for about 1 1/2 months!

Maggie: I can not eat bread 99.9% of the time, so I usually don't bother. I have found a good replacement for me called Snackbread made by Ryvita. Six crackers are only 120 calories, so I can eat a lot of it.

Abby: don't lose heart; you will get there. Last year I had a time where I only lost 4 pounds in the Fall while waiting for a fill. I know I didn't gain, but was a disappointing loss still. So, I know where you're coming from.
