Will I ever be able to have a treat?
OK, so on Friday we had our unit meeting outside the office and had a pot luck lunch. I brought my own lunch...on that point I was a good girl. Dessert was chocolate cheese cake. I loooove cheese cake. I had one small piece. This morning I am up a pound. I know that your weight can vary by as much as 2 or 3 pounds for no external reason.....but SH*T! It sucks. I have tried to concur perfectionism. A slip is not total failure. No food is is banned- you just have to limit it, make choices ........ Oh well, nothing to do but keep on plugging. That concludes my rand for today!
That's the name of the game. I totally eat bad sometimes too, and I also pay for it!!! I ate chips this weekend. I have a hard time with weekends. It drives me mad.

You are doing good don't let that 1pound get you down.There will be 2 pounds or more off next week.I would of eat the cheese cake too,You did good you brought your own lunch so the chesse cake was there for you as you could eat it.I would of put on 2 pounds just looking at it.
Stay strong and one treat is not bad as long as we don't do it every day,You should of a treat ones a week people tell me.I try not too,But some times it is hard not too.Iam thinking that Christmas is comming and that will be were I will want treats as there will be alot all around me.

Stop beating yourself up Charline; if you were eating cheesecake every day, that would be a different story. My weekness is salty things like chips. I try to plan my treats as much as possible. I buy baked cheetos for instance.
This weekend I was craving something sweet, so I bought 100 calories chocolate covered pretzel snacks. You cannot expect to continue this journey without ever having something from the "dark side"! LOL!!

I was not so much beating myself up as i was pissed off. Maybe skinny people have weigh fluctuations after one treat- I wouldn't know- and it doesn't register because they are not obsessed with the scale numbers. I know that I do well, most of the time.
BTW- I have every intention of being very bad Christmas day- only. Both cheesecake and blueberry pie!

I'm with you on this one though charline. I had a chocolate bar a few weeks ago, I weighted myself the next Monday and bam! I was up 2 pounds! I evalutated my eating habits and determined the only thing I did different was eat that darn chocolate bar...
So it makes me wonder, if each time a skinny person eats sugar or fat if they gain automaticly? How is this possible?
