NO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!
I had an appointment scheduled for Monday the 9th. Well, this afternoon I got a call from the clinic saying my, and everyone else's appointments are cancelled until further notice . All clinics are cancelled because of H1N1.
I was already fed up with H1N1, but now................now I just want to beat the living daylights out of that virus! LOL!! I know a lot of people are sick and whatever, but I have absolutely no timeline for my next fill. I guess I am going to have to work my butt off at the gym to make sure I don't gain anything.
Those of you who had fills scheduled, will likely get your call as well about the cancellation. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but advanced knowledge might be helpful in prepping in consequence.

That HINI, is really bad, and the hospitals are trying to contain it, my sister's 90 yr. old fatherinlaw, was feeling sick, and went to hospital, and they got his BP down, and tested him for HINI, and it came back positive, BUT they sent him home, and told him to quarantine himself in his home. He isnt to leave his home or allow anyone in. I am amazed though that they would send him home, but I may not know the whole story. Anyway I am sure you must have been disappointed to have the clinic shut-down, I suppose when one has the lap-band , delays, and cancellations are to be expected, Hopefully you will get in before too long.
That really sucks. Over my way - all outpatients appts and clinics of that sort are cancelled also - and elective surgeries and procedures are being cancelled. From an ER nurses point of view - I wouldn't go anywhere handy a hospital these days unless it was an urgent/emergency situatation! Just WAY too many sick people coughing and sneezing and hacking and potentially spreading germs - even with masks on - it gives me the heebie, jeebies! And I work there!
