Here's a feel good tip gals

I'm goinmg to share a feel good tip with all of you. I so often read where one of you gains a couple of pounds and are upset about it. Well I;m going to share a feel good tip with you.

When I hit a lower number on the scale I record it and say it out loud to myself. If I go up 2 or 3 or even 5 pounds above it, I ignore it because I saw the lower number and know if I hit it once, I;ll hit it again. For example, this morning I weighed 183 pounds. I'll take that thank you. Yes, I've had the flu all week and feel miserable and haven't eaten as I usually do and once I get well I will gain back 3 or 4 pounds, so what?  I hit 183 and I will record that weight because it is as low as I have been in years and I will accept it and revel in it and if I do go above it, I will settle back to it in awhile.

I try to avoid too many sweets. I can only eat 1 or 2 at the most cookies and only a handful of chips anyway so not too bad and not overdoing it.

Take your victories where you find them! Don't beat yourself up because of a pound or two. We only get one life to live so.... Live, Laugh, Love.

Second goal   193    Century Club  ( Reached on Aug 30 2009 )
Third  goal      180 pounds  ( Reached on Nov.23 2009 ) (my personal goal)
Final goal      170 pounds  ( reached Jan 5 2011) ( only stayed that weight breifly)

I pretty much do the same thing. I always bounce up after I hit a new low, and it takes several days to get back to the low.
