OMG!!!!! I got a call from Dr. B's office and have my first appointment!!!!!

OMG Beth!  This is wonderful news!  I am so happy for you...you certainly deserve a break with everything going on in your life lately.  We need to get together sometime soon for a chat...its been way too long.

I know Angela it has been too long since we last got together we need to catch up and see each other...currently I am not working but looking for work and I hate being home but that is ok for now as I want to start with my process with Dr. B without having to ask for time off.   I am so excited about this and it has been a long time well for me that is but roughly 4 years and a bit...a little over 3 years since my referral had been sent to Dr. B's office.  Give me a call sometime soon and we can get together at your place if you like.  Send me an email if you don't have my phone number.

Thank you Krista, I am just so excited right now and I can't wait to meet Dr. B and get on with my journey....I like probably everyone else on here get these bad thoughts thinking "What if he doesn't take me on as his patient or what if I don't fit the criteria"  many thoguhts as you well know I am sure.  I am sure that once he meets with me on November 18th everything else will go pretty quickly I presume.  Woohooo I am on my way and still jumping for joy...

Before the Halifax clinic called me, I had started the process with Dr. B. As for weight loss, he just wants you to be 'down' each time you get weighed; there is no specific target. I found this easier than Dr. Ellesmere in Halifax, who wanted you to lose 10 lbs between each appt. I didn't, and he operated anyway :)

Congratulations on the beginning of your journey! You have waited for this, and you will be more than ready when the time comes.

yes my wait is finally over and I am trying may hardest to loose the weight before surgery and keep on the loosing side...woohooo
