Multiple Referrals

Just wondering if anyone has been referred to more than one doctor at a time?
 
I found out today after calling Dr. Savoie's office that they have no received my referral!!!!!!!!! After calling my Doc's office I found out that she only sent it to Dr. B's office. I was shocked! A 5-8 year waitlist isn't what I was hoping for! The receptionist told me to call back next week when the Doctor is back in to see what she wants to do about switching the referral to Dr. S. I'm just wondering if anyone else had multiple referrals or if you got your Doctor's to switch them? 

Talk about frustrating! Here I thought I might be getting a first meeting/consult soon and now I'm back to drawing board...

Just tell her that you want your referral to go to Dr. S ..because it will be a shorter wait !! She should do it , no problem .  

I think all Drs are different. I had mine sent to Dr. Beau and then I wanted one sent to Dr. S and I had to make another appointment!

FRUSTRATING!

I had mine sent to Dr B,Then 1 mth later he sent it to DR S as he just started taking referrals back in Oct of last year.
Juat call and let you DR know you would like one sent to DR S and they should do that for you.

All docs are different - call his office and let them know that you want a referral sent to Dr. S. as well. They may require another office visit. Sometimes it's all about the $$$ trail and the paper trail. But there is no reason why they can't send the second referral for you, as long as their procedure to do so is followed.

Thanks for the input. I'm going to book another appointment with her when she gets back in the office and I'm hoping she will send the referral to Dr. S as well. Talk about frustrating though! I have been under the impression since March that she had already done this!
