September was a bad month for me. I was stalled the whole month. BUT this morning I stepped on the scales and lo and behold it read 187!!!!! YES!!!! Broke the 9's stall. I was surprised because yeasterday I had one of those rare days where I craved candy all day. I ate a fair bit of candy too so I was expecting to be up at least 1 pound. Imagine ,my surprise to actually find myself down 4 pounds. I will go back up to the one nines again for sure but with the stall broken, it will settle back into the one eights. I AM SO FREAKING HAPPY I COULD JUST EAT TOAST (if I could). LOL Only 7 pounds from my original goal and where I'd be really happy at. YES!!!

Good for you! And - I was a LONG time before I could eat toast. And still don't do plain white bread. I'm a fan of the president's choice whole wheat flax bread, they also have english muffins and bagels that are whole wheat flax - all are blue menu. I can't eat a whole bagel - but 1/2 - they are pretty small - but it satifies the "toast" craving - and with cheese or peanut butter - give you a fair bit of protein. Food for thought - haha - just kidding - take care!

Good on you!  I find that a stall will break the day after I have over eaten!  My reasoning is that your body relaxes and says "Oh we aren't in a famine, I can let go of that fat/ fluids"

Most RnYers have some foods they just can't eat, For me it depends on the day and the food. Today I might eat  a slice of bread but tomorrow if I were to try it it wouldn't go down or go down and come right back up. Most of the time when I put something into my mouth that won't go down I get this tight feeling in my throat and chest so before I even try to swollow it I know it won't go down. If I were to try to swollow it anyway, it would go down slowly and painfully and most likely come right back up. I don't think it's the same as "stuck" because it does move. it's a learning thing. Now when I get the tight feeling I just spit out whatever is in my mouth and try it again in a few days or not depending on what it is. It does not seem to matter the density of the food. It is just a pouch preference thing. I still can't eat pork and chicken is    hit   and miss . Shame because my favorite food was fried pork chops. No more I can't eat sweets either. I went to a shower recently but could only look at the sweet table. Oh well, small price to pay I guess.

Maggie - it is very hit or miss with me too at times. If I'm not relaxed, if I'm stressed, grumpy or whatever - it's just as well to forget it and eat later. The earlier out I was the more my emotions affected me. And as well - the farther out I am - the more tolerant I am of foods that were a "no go" earlier out. So - don't dismay - the foods that you can't tolerate now - may well be on your menu later on down the road!
