Tomorrow is the big Day

Well, this is it, The CIBS Run for the Cure is already upon us. I will be running in memory of my 39 year old cousin Denise who lost her battle against breast cancer earlier this year. I have been running 2 miles in 25 minutes on the treadmill, 5-6 days a week to get ready. I will be running with my 12 yeard old daughter,

The Lapband has allowed me to do this. When I am sweating it out on the treadmill and feel like quitting, I just remember what my life was like before the band. I will never go back to that again. I  owe it to my kids, but more importantly to MYSELF, to stay healthy and fit.

My goal tomorrow is to run the 5K, but I will walk some if I need to. I am really pumped to get out there tomorrow. I'll let you know how it went. Have a great day everyone.

Jet
