7 th and 8 th fill in september

 Still the band only manages to maintain 3cc, Surgery scheduled to replace  band on october 9th one day short of my bandaversary. Any body know a nice place to stay near the georges dumont ,preferably within walking distance to hospital or short taxi ride. Thanks

Bummer that your band is a blow out, but it is good that it is being replaced. What took them so long?

it worked but for only 7days after the fill then restriction left  almost completely , its leaking but they cant see where.

 they have to see the same loss of fill over a period of time usually 4 fils ,in my case it was more like 8 appointments 8 fills but better late than never and its warranty work as well, it happened to anoither patient a few months ago her band was empty though.

Stephen - The Rodd Park House Inn has a hospital rate and is not too far from the hosp. Not walking distance - but a short cab ride. I know there are a couple other hotels closer - but a bit tacky. I have stayed at Rods at least 5 times over the years - I get a motel unit with an outside entrance. Stayed there last for my Sept 14 appt. My husband and I actually stayed there one time on a road trip. It's right next to the tidal bore, quiet and the staff are great. I have checked with other area Hotels before - but Rodd's offers the best hospital rate and the best value for the money. Good luck with your appt!

 thanks Mary i'll check that out, the hospital recommended that  i stay at the nuns residence 20.00 dollars a night, but i think i might be more comfortable at a motel.

Where you at the Dumont on Sept 23 (early afternoon)? There was a man there i thought looked familar.....could that have been you?

iwas there 3 times in sept. 2nd, 24th, and 30th, man i've made a lot of trips there could do it blindfolded by now. Did he look like purple dinosaur? lol
