Love it! I am not quite on the Loser's Bench - surgery is Thursday, but let's leave me there...I like the way it looks!

Hi Charlene and all

Sorry I have not been posting as of late, it's been absolutly insane here.  I do however pop on a few times a week to catch up on everyone. 

I do have an addition to your list.  My daughter Meg ( who unfortunalty is not a member of our board but........) Has her date for her lap band surgery.  She goes in on Dec 16th.  Dr. Savoe thought that date would be better since she just started University this fall and this way it would not interfere with her exams or study. I wonder if there are any other mother/daughter lap band patients in the province..would be cool to find out.


On an up-note about me. I finally got to see De. B, and found out that I had reflux.  He changed my meds and I have gone a whole month without throwing up once.  Quite a change from 3 to 4 times EACH meal.  But on the down side of that, I am now up 7lbs, but I am still under his goal so I am not going to worry about it too much yet.  I know I am eating healthy, so I think it's just my body adjusting to having nourishment in it.

Anyhoodles-- now that things have slowed down a bit, maybe we (you Star and whomever is in town) can get together for a cuppa someday after work. Im good today or tomorrow, Friday is out, But any day next week is ok as well.  Maybe I can convince Meg to come too seeing how she is an " all grown up University gurl " now (rolls eyes)...OHHHH! and we met a sweet little girl at Dr. Savoie's office (both times) from Fredericton. She is here on the board but unfortanatly I did not get her real name or her OH name..so if you are out there cutie-patootie, It would be great if you could come for coffee as well..maybe I can get your name then  *lol*

Those "grown uo University kids" - gotta love em eh? My son is just starting his 4th year at MUN in St. John's. They are so grown up in some ways - but still have a long way to go in others. Congrats and good luck to your daughter Carol!

It's sad not to see my name there some where...maybe you could start a new list.....the REAL LOSERS list!!!
