Worst stuck episode yet...

We are all individuals when it comes to what bothers us. I have no problems with most things with skins....except apples, can't do apples. I very often have a lot of trouble with chicken. But many people can't eat steak and tender steak is something I can eat when nothing else will go down. I can't eat bread, but pizza is fine. Most baked goods are a no go. I am afraid of salad because of all the hard veggies in it. The only times I have had salad, I have chopped and chopped first. I eat shredded carrot but not whole.....unless cooked. Rice is a problem if it is more than 1/4 of a meal and I mix it with other food. I have had shredded coconut, but not fresh coconut. I have had pasta with no problem, but again, never a full meal. Corn on the cob is a no go. Hamburger is not a problem.
If you are too tight, everything comes back up!

Thank you for sharing Penelope.  Being very new at this and still on liquids, I can take any suggestions- good or bad- to help me through.

I vomited (nothing) at the hospital after surgery and it hurt so much that I hope to never vomit again.  I know that this is unlikely, but believe me that I will be extra paranoid and try to avoid the situations that you guys mention.

I think I mentioned it before but one of my greatest phobias is vomiting.  Always have been like that so hopefully it won't happen too much.

I feel bad that you went through that and I hope you feel better.

Note to self- avoid hamburg and stuff with peels.

Dear God, I hope that never happens to you agian......or ever for me for that matter!  Vomit never sounded so painful....I am afraid....very afraid. Me and the sleeve are gonna get used to a very slippery kind  of diet! Although I love ground beef, turkey and chicken...I will be super careful. Thanks for the warning/advice and please, please, look after yourself. Hugs and kisses,

Sugarbear

Patsy - I hope you feel better soon - stick to the liquids for a day or two until you feel better. I think we have all been there - it's all learning - and the chew/chew/chew thing is SO important!  Take er easy and wishing you better days ahead!

Those darn bad stuck episodes really suck:( I had one a week ago. Back to liquids for 2 days followed by 2 days of puree.

I don't even think of bread anymore since I know what the results will be. That is definitely my worse.

Hang in there Patsy; it will get better.
