Update on Starr????

Just wondering if anyone has had an update from Starr?  Starr PM me and let me know how things are going please. 

Yeah, I want to "do" Starbucks, Starr!

Hi girls,
Sorry I haven't been on in a while. I am heavier now than when I had surgery (almost back to where I started last Dec) so I've been avoiding the forum purely because I can't join in the weight loss journey, especially since having my unfill. Dr B said he wanted me back in 4 weeks for another fluro to see if the reflux has improved but the soonest I can in is Oct 8th, almost 8 weeks later. I find it a little frustrating to have to wait that long when the Dr says he'll see you in 4 wks. Anyway, I've gained over 10 lbs since my unfill. I'm trying to get that off right now with slimfast before I go back on the 8th. Wish me luck. You guys are all doing so great. I'm very proud of you. And congrats to all of you who have recently had your surgery. You're on the road to a better life. Good luck to all and I would just love to 'do' starbucks really soon. Monday is the only day that I can't since I don't get off until 7 those days. Next week would be good for me. Let me know and thanks to both of you for being concerned. It makes me happy to know someone notices me gone. You guys are the best.

Hang in there hon- it will get better - very few people are able to get on the this WLS journey and have a smooth ride - after being on the boards for so long I see very few say hey no issues here and no problems! 

Its a lot of hard work and there are bends and turns and many detours - so one day at a time - lil things add up - so be sure to keep your fluids - water intake up and get your protein in - waiting for a fill must be damn frustrating - just do your best - we are here for you to support you - dont avoid posting when you dont have wows to report- venting and throwing it out there helps -

 I also have a fill on Oct. 8th - what time is yours Starr?  Maybe we could do Starbucks on the way back from Moncton?  Charlene, would that work for you?  Jenn -where are you gal?  And anyone else who is interested - come along.

woohoo, 1:30. i would love to do coffee on the way back and thank you so much girls for the support. I have always said you are a great group of ppl and I still stand by that. I just like to be positive sometimes too.

 Great Starr!  I will definitely see you there - mine is at 1:15  Can't wait - I'm very hungry.  Lise said it is likely from losing fat under my band - I really haven't lost very much - maybe a pound or two.

Good luck on the 8th star. Hopefully things will turn around for you. As Deb said - it's not all of us who have a smooth ride post-op. As you may know - i'm recovery from emergency repair of a Peterson's Hernia. But you know what - someone asked me if I regretted having the RNY last year seeing as I had all the illness and then surgery this summer. NOT A CHANCE. It's been more than worth it and when we sign on for this stuff we have to be prepared to accept both the good and the bad. As long as we roll with the punches and get back up it's all good. You'll do it girl - believe it!
