Heartburn??????

I had heartburn this morning. That's so strange. The last time I had heartburn, I was pregnant with my now 29 year old son. Told you I used to have guts of steel. This is strange because last week I started taking Losec.  I wonder if it is Losec related and not true heartburn? Feels like heartburn. Very unpleasant. Any ideas out there? I wonder if I should be concerned?

RnYers have their stomach cut off before the bile  enters the stomach and the acid enters further down so there is really very little stomach acid in the stomach. As matter of fact when we throw up there is no bitter acid taste and no green bile. (Thank God for small favors eh?) I puke quite a bit so this is a godsend. LOL

Tread lightly my friend - if you puke a fair bit you could have an erosion or beginnings of an ulcer there. Try tums or an antacid of some sort. But - please get it checked out- us women develop the most obscure symptoms - and it never hurts to get things checked out! Good Luck!

Merci beaucoup! I got it all cut off when I began to get really sick. ALWAYS had short hair - but thought I'd give long hair a try. So it's now decided - I'm a short hair kind of gal!

Wow, ulcer? already? I'm only 7 months out.

Maggie - Ulcer is just a thought - the time frame is not really that important. In any case - please get it checked out if it hasn't settled. Nothing to fool around with. Take care!
