A weekend away for all us looser and potential loosers

You know what would be fun....a weekend away!  Somewhere central where we can all hook up at a hotel and spend time crying, laughing, venting, prancing our new bodies, or anything we want. We can plan it for the spring when the roads are clear and the birds are singing and we are celebrating a new beginning in spring. That would represent what we are all doiing. So everyone on this forum and the Halifax forum should give this some thought. I would have no problem coordinating this as I do this for other groups I belong to.  So lets pass this on. Actually I will post it as a new forum and I will hope people will drop me a note and make a committment and sign up. We have to put our heads together and decide  on a mid way point to meet. A weekend together would be a blast.  We can come up with a name for our group and invite anyone who wants to come. Think about it everyone, I am game. What do you all think?

I think that would be a great idea. If we plan far enough a head we should be able to keep our schedules free.

Thats what I was thinking, far enough in advance that our schedules would actually be scheduled with this weekend.....duh....anyhow, you all understand. So, now to pick a date! Do I just pick a date at random like out of the sky?  Any imput would be great! I will take St. John and Freddy and Sydney and PEI and come up with a central location. As long as it is on dry land and has a hotel LOL!  I'll do my best.  Write in with any suggestions please!

What about Charlottetown, PEI! It is kinda central. Plus a great destination! It is roughly 3 hours from Sydney and 4 hours from Freddy (don't quote me on these, they are just guesses).

Love Charlottetown- pool is a must - if anyone is not comfortable with the pool idea dont let it stop you from coming - I am sure there will be landlovers too !
Dont rule out Summerside either if we are all crossing the bridge I think once you are on PEI its about the same distance from the Bridge- there a few nice hotels their as well.

I think we should definitely do it - now do we want to do totally fun and be wild and whatever strikes our fancy or do we want to keep on the theme of new beginnings and see what speakers or experts might lend to our journey's and have some sort of personal development part to the weekend - if we are going for a weekend with a Friday evening and Saturday and depart on Sunday we might be able to schedule a couple of things of interest to everyone.

Just a thought and I am there no matter the vote of what we are doing - sorry you are stuck with me! LOL

Hope I will have some valuable info to pass along from my WLS Retreat in North Carolina the end of the month!

I am in as well.  Sounds really fun.  Not sure if I will have had surgery by then, but would be so awesome to hang out with you guys and talk shop :)
