wishing for "normalcy"
Is that even a word? So - I finally get my g-tube out - and look forward to taking good care of myself and getting back to work in a few weeks. The day after I get home - dh gets laid off - and the day after that he is hospitalized (no details to follow) - so now I'm camping out with the dog at the hotel - going back and forth to the hosp to see him three times a day. So I'm not getting to eat, rest and generally take care of myself like I need to. F*** that anyway. I need for some order and routine to be restored to our lives. And I need to complain - so there it is. I know things will get better - it always does - but for now - life sucks - straight forwards and simple. That is all. Thanks for listening.
That sucks big time. When it rains...But yes, you are right. It going to be better but it also feels really good that you are able to come here and vent. We all do!! And we are here to listen. The internet can certainly be a good place to find support.

Wouldn't you just know it. Itnever rains itpours. My mother always says bad news comes in threes. In your case I think she is right. How are you doing and how are you feeling now. Able to eat yet? Take care of yourself. Feel better and god's speed with your health. Bet you'll be glad to get back to work and back to normalacy. BTW, yes it is a word.
