Tomorrow I do it.....I'm scared to death,. Have I made the right decision? Is it going to work? Do I, have I, will I, can I etc etc. Dear lord, I hope I don't regret this. Now for the positive side, in 24 hrs it will all over with except the crying!!!! We are leaving for Bathurst at suppertime, checking into the hospital lodging and going to the OR at 7AM.
Catinthefiddle is my angel and she'll be hearing from hubby around noon, I hope.I just wish I could come home tomorrow.Anyway, I'm off & will be in touch soon!!!
Keep your fingers crossed for me please!!!!

Good Luck Betty...you are doing it for all the right reasons I am sure. A healthier life is right around the corner ! Keep on the bright side TRY not to get too afraid , that is just par for the course. Once you are asleep , a couple of hours is like 1 minute. You will be fine ...
I will be waiting for the call from your hubby ....I will let everyone know how you are doing.
When you get home , send us a note to let us know how you are feeling , OK.
HAPPY TRAILS ............your first step !!!
I will be thinking of you , love & hugs ...Jessie

casey, I think we have all felt the exact same way you do now before our surgeries too. It is completely normal. You'd be strange if you weren't scared to death. We all know what you are feeling now. Once you awaken in post op, it will all be over and a week from now you'll be wondering what you were so worried about. I know sleep will be hard to come by tonight but try to close your eyes and relax. I think the mortality rate for lap band is 0%. That's as good as it gets! You will be fine. Post us when you get home and feel up to it. Sending warm wishes your way. maggie
