Pertinent questions for the surgeon.

You know when you are being interviewed or questioned, and how your mind just goes blank! OK, my mind has gone blank. I don't want to sound "stund" but I can only think of a few questions for the surgeon on Thursday. Please, anyone who has already been there....please share some of your pertinent questions with me. In the meantime, I am writing some down.

OMG, don't rely on memory! I always kept a small notebook and whenever I thought of a question I wanted answered I jotted it down in the notebook. Then when I saw the surgeon I would flip open the notebook and read the questions. I would never have remembered what I wanted to know otherwise. Each day you will think of something else you want answered. You'll never remember them all. Write them down. That's what most if not all people do. I still do that whenever I go see my doctor or the endocrinologist or ant specialist. Hope this helps. :)

As Maggie said - Write them down - even when I was hospitalized recently after I had the peterson's Hernia repaired - I wrote down the questions I had on the back of the tissue box - Lame I know - but at the time I had no paper and I wanted to make sure I got all the answers I was looking for.
