A bit more info on Dr. Savoie

I called the new clinic to see if anything had changed (super nice lady btw).  She says that they are currently entering all the patients' information in the computer.  She has a stack of about a thousand to go through.

That being said, she enters them as they come but sorts them in the computer by date received so they are not entered in order but given to the Dr. in order.  She then said that the Dr. reviews the files and chooses who he sees first.

They have not yet started to book consults for people who haven't seen him yet.  She says that she doesn't expect any calls to go out until late Fall.

I told her I was going on vacation from the 1st to the 17th of October and she said I can wait until I get back since she doesn't think anything is going to change until then.

Just thought I'd share.....I'm trying to keep my hopes up but it's getting more and more difficult when I hear that....ah well...

Chin up, Honey. Many people waited for years, your wait is hard because you had (as did everyone) the expectation that the wait wouldn't be long. Focus on having surgery next Spring or late winter and if it happens sooner, it'll be a bonus! In the mean time, you won't be as anxious about it.
