Third fill today!
My appointment was at 1:30 and I got in pretty much on time. Everything went well. My weight was down 8.3 pounds and brings me to a grand total of 57.9 lbs. with just 53.1 pounds to go. Well, I got another 1.5 cc's today. I think that brings me up to 4 or 4.5 cc's. I am really hoping this gives me some restriction and makes losing the next few pounds require not quite so much willpower LOL. I can't complain - but I would love to find that "Sweet Spot"
Good luck and welcome to all the NEWBIES!!!

That's awesome...you are way ahead of me now. I've slowed right down. I've been down 51 lbs since surgery but been the same since May. I've got to buckle down and get losing. Did they pull out all your saline and measure it? Just curious.

Yes, she did pull out was was in there and it was all there. I was very relived to find that I didn't have a leak in it. I just couldn't understand was I was feeling so hungry and feeling no restriction. Anyway, the fill went well and I and hoping to have restriction for at least awhile :-) Thinking that MAYBE I will break into onederland before my next fill - at least that is my goal. I am back to work on the 31 of this month and that will force me to be more prepared with meals and such and should be helpful with eating right.
Patsy, just wanted to let you know that my weight loss is since my initial visit in January of 2009. Not quite as impressive when you spread it over approx. 7 months - but I am very happy with it. I haven't had a gain (yet) and that is encouraging. I am still really motivated and want this to work. Like many others have said the band is a tool and still requires a lot of willpower by times. My weight seems to be coming off at about 5 pounds per month. At this rate I will need about another 10 months - sounds like a long time but it would be a healthy rate of loss and very doable! That is not to say that I wouldn't like to see it come off a little faster LOL
