Yet another NSV!!
I went shopping with my daughter this week and we had a wonderful day! Aside from spending the day together, which was the best, I bought a new jacket, 2 pairs of pants, a blouse, a dress and two pairs of shoes. Normally I would have tried on a few items and then just bought something that I didn't liked and that sorta fit because I was too tired and discouraged to look further. Not on this trip - I had lots of energy and tried on a ton of clothes until I found something that I liked and that fit. None of it was from Pennington's (great store and it has served me well, but...). None of it was in plus sizes! What a great feeling. I am sooo looking forward to more weight loss and smaller sizes LOL
My daughter and her family left for Florida this morning and I miss them already. It was a great visit and could only have been better if it had been longer.

Congratulations. I wore a top yesterday that is an XL- no numbers first. I have been wearing mostly size 18 but some reason anything sized by letters, I still need a 1X.
I am still wearing mostly clothing that I had packed away from past weight loss or have taken in. But everyday after work i stop at Valve Village. At first I wouldn't look at the clothing, but now I definitely do. I have found tons of new or nearly new clothing that I just love. I have a large assortment of large, medium, and some extra large that are really large to UN-grow into. I am also a devotee of a place called Changes on King St here in Fredericton. They are a non-profit store that will sell only clothing in new condition. Once a month (first Tuesday) they have a special where most of the clothing is only a toonie. I do nuts on Toonie Tuesday and it is just so much fun. Much of the clothing is from shops I couldn't afford to shop in. It's fun and cheap. I am thinking that I should at least go to some of the stores that have been off limits and play shopper! Heck, even the regular sizes at Sears would be a treat!
I also have a NSV to share. Last night I noticed that my wedding rings were very loose. I thought I should try on some rings I have that were never sized. Well girls.....My DH gave me a diamond ring for my 50th birthday, which I never got around to having sized, so I have never worn it. Guess where that ring is today! Yep! It's on my hand! Don't need to have it sized any more! I do have several other rings that are now too big!
