What do you eat in a day - Lap banders
Hiya Fiddle, I am not eating yet! I only begin mushies on the 5th of August!!! Check out my ticker, 31 pounds lost I can't believe it but then again I can because with 2 weeks liquids pre op and then 2 weeks liquid post op, I mean what else is going to happen? haha
I'm feeling good but I have to go to the hospital to get one of my incisions checked because it's infected I think. I am heading there soon. Overall though, really I'm pretty much healed. I'm feeling okay but the mental part has been hard, I've been without food for 3 weeks and it hasn't been easy, but each pounds I lose I feel much better about it. I can't wait to be back to normal and to be able to eat solid food again.
How are your sugars? when are you seeing the good doctor again?

Monica , you are doing so well ! I am jealous ! You will be glad to get something to chew on by Aug 5th.
To bad about the incision getting infected ....wonder why ? Did you put some polysporin on it ?
Could you suck on popscicles , maybe make them yourself ? I am not looking forward to that part , but it comes with the territory , right !
My sugars are down , when I watch what I eat. They are all pretty well single digits. The Dr. told me that they would call me in August ???? IF my sugars were down , surgery in 2 weeks. I wonder if he remembers what he told me .... If I don't get a call , I will be calling them .

Hey, cat it would not hurt for you to phone the clinic and give them your sugar reports. I just find they are so busy that they seem to forget a few things , which is natural. I would phone to make sure things get moving along for you. The last thing you would want is to be put back longer.

I had an appointment this afternoon , underground parking....had to walk to the elevators , then had to walk through a pedway ......I almost died . I have asthma too & I am very short of breath these humid days , I wheeze like I have a cold . I am usually never bothered with it . My back hurts so bad to walk & my legs were just burning & aching , I know that its all caused by being so obese. HELP .....I need this surgery done !
