Fill Three

Well I made the journey to Moncton (AGAIN) yesterday for my third fill.  I got to meet Dr. B's wife (who is super sweet) she gave me a fill of 1cc for a grand total of 4cc in my band now.  I was only down 2 pounds but that is good considering the struggle that I have been having lately with will power.  Let's hope that this gives me some restriction for awhile..  I've reached the point where my hair is falling out....ALOT!!!!  It doesn't really bother me though because I have a thick head of hair and I could stand to lose some....hehe.  Besides with the money I am saving in food I can always buy a wig if it gets too bad......LOL  I kinda expected that anyway because after I had Hannah I was shedding like crazy for months and they say that weight lose and stress on your body from surgery can cause weight lose.  I spoke to the doctor about it and she didn't seem to be worried by it.

So other than that, theres not too much more to report on my end, hope you girls are all doing great and becoming a bunch of losers!!!!!

Hey Jenn, I'm right behind you.  I am really needing a fill as my will power is the only thing that is wearing a bit thin LOL.  I seem to have less restriction now than I did before my last fill.  Not sure how that works but I'm sure there is a logical explanation.  I will be calling soon to make an appointment for the first or second week in August. That will make it about 5 weeks since my last fill.

Sorry to hear about your hair loss.  That has been a concern of mine since the very beginning.  Get lots of protein - I think that is what helps.  Good that the doctor isn't concerned.

Take care and keep up the good work - Suzanne H.

Thanks Jenn.  I wonder if his office is open to phone calls in the meantime.  I'll call just in case I can get one for around the 10th - thanks - Suzanne H.

What would one do if one needed an unfill?

Charline, are you still too full? What in blazes are you waiting for? You're a smart lady who knows how this band works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You'd be giving any of the rest of us good advice to get our butts into the office. This band is NOT about being sick / PBing and not about struggling. This shouldn't be hard. Please take care of yourself and get into the office. I would call pronto.

I am not convinced I am too full, but I do have to be very careful about chewing, small bites, and not eating too fast. There are also lots of things I can no longer eat. Yesterday I tried to eat an apple, but the first bite was the last bite. I have been counting my protein to be sure I am getting enough.

I am also reluctant to take more time off work; we are short staffed and my health is a burden to my co-workers as it is. I will go if I have to. I will call next week. I will be on vacation the first week of August and only an hour away from Moncton.
Thanks for your concern.

As long as you aren't PBing and throwing up. That was my concern, Charline. There are alot of things I can't eat now either -- apples are definitely one thing. I can't eat steak and I can't eat any breads at all.

Good for you on the chewing and slowing down the eating.

I do PB but only if I discover a new food that does not settle or if I break a band rule like a big bite or too fast. I have trouble with chicken unless it is very moist and cut very small- no chomping off the drumstick for me. When I do PB, it comes up very easily. My band is definitely touchy.

I'll say this once more (so you won't think I am picking on you).Dr B's office told me if you PB MORE THAN ONCE to contact them right away. MORE THAN ONCE.

This is NOT a normal part of our journey.
