After weightloss....
Everyone is different. It depends on several things...the severity of the obesity, the elasticity in your skin, your age, how long the skin has been stretched. Me for example, I am expecting that the saggy skin I have now will not go away. My underarms (or batwings as we like to refer to them) will continue to wave in the wind. My underbelly or apron as they call it, will not come back to where it should be. I've been overweight for many many years and the skin is badly stretched and no real elasticity left to pull it back to its original position. I live in NS and they will only cover the very basic "apron" removal" and ONLY IF you have documented records with your GP that there is ongoing infection and/or irritation due to the hanging skin. otherwise, they won't even cover that. Anything else, is plastic surgery, or leave it alone. I think NB has similar rules regarding excess skin. They suggested to me that I start saving for plastic surgery so that about two years after finishing my weight loss I can get it done. That's what i've been told.
