DSer - Low Zink and Low Vit D

Hi,
In my last blood work I showed low Zink and vit D. I take 12 Vita4life every day and this is working very well.  But...with these two being low, I need to go to my surgeon to get a recommendation of what I can take to bring up the numbers.

It is especially important as Zink helps healing and I will have surgery in August...so need to act fast.

Will post later when i find out what to do.  I have no idea right now.  Guess this tells you as a DSer, that you need to manage your situation after all blood tests, and track closely your situation.

i actually keep an excel sheet so I can see over the 3 years where my bloods are sitting.  It helps me to see the fluctutations.

Low vitamin D surprises me  I take extra D from October to April but not in the summer time.
