My first fill!!!

Hi everyone,
Well I am going for my 1rst fill on Monday and I am scared.   I spoke to a girl that had her first fill last Monday and she scared the living **** out of me!!!!  She said it hurt really bad!!!   I am so ready for it but I am scared that it will hurt...  Any suggestion anyone!

She's a whiner then :) I felt almost NOTHING every time I had a fill. Please don't worry :)

 It is different for everyone.  I have had 2 fills and the first one felt like a fly bite and the second one I felt only slightly more - no pain.

I have had 3. The first one hurt a bit- no more than my insulin shots. The second one hurt more, but not really painful- more of an ouch! The last one really didn't hurt at all. Don't be afraid, my experience with other people's pain & my own is that your perception of pain increases with your anxiety level.

i'VE HAD a few fills and for one of them they froze the port site.  Ask them to freeze it if you are really scared.  but lets face it, freezing is a needle too !!  LOL  My last one hurt but the radiologist told me it's because she entered through my scar which is thicker and tougher skin.  otherwise it doesn't hurt much.  don't be scared, really.

so how was it, did it hurt, adn do you feel a bit of restriction.
do you kno whow much he put into your band.
sorry for scaring the crfap out of you heeh but mine did hurt hehe.
but id still go for another fill rightn now if id have to hehe, im probably just a wuss eheh.

I have a very high tolerance to pain  but my first fill was excrutiating. The second one was a piece of cake though. I think it may have just been my port. You'll be fine and even if it does feel a bit uncomfortable, it is short lived and then you're fine. No worries!! It is soooo worth it. Cheers!
