Need Help!

I would be very wary to get the LAP BAND outside the country/province, unless you have someone local or kind of local to do the fills.  Other than that...I have heard great stories on this blog of overseas and out of province surgeries.

Hi Anglea,

if you are going to do a self pay let me know.  I may be able work a deal for 2 people somehow.  Dr christo is probable the best bet in Quebec.  It is the closest and he is the best they say.  I was emailing him last year but then along came dr savoie in bathurst but still nothing.  i called there yesterday and they said he is only doing the band right now and is only doing 2 per week. 

Also, have you heard of medicard?  They will finance pretty much anyone, so that might be an option for us as well.
