Happy Anniversary!
I just realized that I had my lap band surgery a year ago today! In that year I have lost 62lbs, have been taken off all but one of my meds, can now run on the treadmill, just park the car wherever because I can walk! I feel better than I have in years, and have a lot more energy as well. Life is good!

Thanks for asking Charline. Yeah I can now eat a sandwich once in awhile. Even ate a baby size ice cream a couple daus ago. Didn't dump on it but got sleepy and had to nap. Still really miss my veggies. Haven't gotten them back yet. Maybe next year.
You seem to be doing well. I think you have it harder than I do. I don't have to think about what I can eat. My pouch worries about that. If I can't eat it, it comes back up. See nothing to think about. LOL
Keep up the good fight Charline. I see you are going for another fill soon.Good luck!

I had a fill last Thursday and I am feeling a lot of restriction. I can eat, but I have to eat very slowly and chew, chew, chew or it comes right back up. I have been avoiding anything that is hard. I am only eating mushy veggies. I had potato salad tonight- the celery was a challenge and I almost had a second look at the first couple of bites. So at the moment, I don't have to thin k a lot about what I eat- it has to be mushy and in small amounts!!
