official weight

When I went to my first consultation, Dr. S didn't weigh me but I told him approx. how much I think I weighed.Do they make the first weigh in official when you meet up with the dietician?  I don't know if I'm the same, more or what and I'm afraid that if I gained, they won't consider surgery.  My scale has been known to lie in the past.Just curious.

Funny, the same thing happened to me in Halifax. I wrote what I thought I weighed on a form in February, and then I'm supposed to have lost 10 pounds by 'the next appointment'. But what if I didn't get my initial weight right? They can't hold you accountable to a number that wasn't verified. I had my appt. today, and I was scared to death like you, but it worked out fine. I had lost 14.5, but only 4.5 lower than what I stated on the form. They had no problem with that.

Hey Suzanne, glad to hear that all went well. You have to fill me in on what  to expect. I go for appt. number 2 on July 21.  I am struggling with weight loss. Predneson doesn't help at all. So how many more appts. do you have before surgery. Any indication when surgery might be. Please fill me in. Curiousity kills the cat eh!

must be why you were on my mind today - you know me and dates dont jive  - I have no memory- lost brain cells with the lbs I lost - and you know I am not joking- attention span of a flea!!
