6th fill today
Me too, Stephen. He said he would do the RNY if that's what I wanted but then I felt guilty so I accepted the band. Word of advise to everyone waiting. Never settle just to have a surgery. It is your body and no one knows it like you. Get what you want and think is the best choice for you!! Keep your chin up Stephen, things always seem to have a way of working out for the best. This might be the one that works.
Nope, I just turned 49. At first this surgery was really hard or me because I wanted to eat. eating was my friend for so long. I think I sufered withdrawl symptoms from not being able to eat it. It has been almost 5 months now and I am getting used to it. As Deb once said i now look at food as a means to an end now too. I no longer begrudge my loss of food. Now food is becoming just fuel for my body. Not my best friend anymore. I am losing slowly but surely. I havge lost 83 pounds since I started dieting for this surgery and have lost 42 pounds since surgery. I am happy with my RnY.
