NSV
My physio once spoke to me about sitting and standing up using just my legs and not using momentum or / and bending forward to struggle to stand up. Well... My DH and I went out for our anniversary (32 years- I am going to keep him 'cause I'm too old to train another one!) and had to wait for a table. When I had to get up from the couch, I was able to do it in one fluid motion! I didn't have to use momentum to get up. It can naturally, I didn't realize the difference until I was already standing. I have always had to wiggle to the edge and lean back , then swing my body forward (using the momentum) while pushing up with my legs to get up off a couch or chair- NOT ANY MORE!! I am not sure when this first happened but I didn't notice until last Thursday.

Firstly, congrats on the NSV. I can't wait to start to experience some of the finer things in life once again! Oh How I've Missed Things Like That!!! Secondly, what the heck does NSV stand for? I get the jist of it but what are the actual words!!! I'm sure I'm going for a DAH moment when you tell but I can go no longer wonder what it means any more!!!
PS.....congrats on the anniversary as well! To be honest, training the second is a lot easier than the first. Unless you marry someone in their twenties, neither of you care about things the way you used to way back when so it's usually no big deal in the long run!!! Just in case you have a mid life crisis after you lose all that weight and become a cougar!!!!
