Hi , I am one of Dr.. Savoie patients. I have been to 2 visits & I am looking for a call in August for the 3rd visit & hopefully then in 2 weeks I can have the surgery . That is what he said . I have to get my blood sugars under control before he will do the surgery .
So , what visit is this that you are going to ? I don't know too much about the surgery part. There has been one gal that has had the surgery on this forum & she hasn't been around much at all, or I am missing the posts .

This was my 2nd vist,I seen him in Oct then on the 15th of June.Now I don't see him again untill my Surgery in Aug.I can go for every thing befor in moncton so that is good.
I have all in info on what to do after and how it workes.

I went for my 2nd visit & would have got my surgery date BUT , my sugars were just to high . Better to be safe than sorry. I wonder if I can have my preop blood work done around home here instead of driving all the wa y up there ? I will have to ask .
Your next step will be the liquid diet for 2 weeks before surgery. The dietician showed me the Boost , it didn't look very big & I also seen it sold by the individual bottles in the convience store.
I would like you to keep me informed of all your steps that you are going through on this journey of ours...the fist step is the biggest isn't it ?
