H1N1 Flu Pandemic

Hi All,

I'm reading about the H1N1 Flu Pandemic having MB's first recorded deaths. The number of people infected are doubling daily. The number of deaths from the H1N1 virus will likely increase before we see relief from it. I feel for the families affected by H1N1 virus and hope those in hospital or at home now with the H1N1 virus do recover quickly. 

We should be extra careful during this time as our immune system can be less than optimal especially with co morbities at any stage of our WLS journey.

We have been lucky here in NB....so far. No deaths and only a few cases- I can't remember the exact number but it is under 100. It may be a very different story in the fall when another strain makes the rounds.
