Well girls , you can officialy put me on the second visit list.
I got a call from Bathurst on Wednesday.
She told me that they had a cancellation , so I got the call !
She said that I will be seeing the dietician , diabetic nurse & doctor (?).
She said to bring my glucose meter & Little book , a small diary of what I have eaten since Wed , to get an idea of what I eat & a list of meds.
I have to be there at 915am on Monday morning . So David & I are driving up on Sunday & staying the night , it would be too early to get up in the morning & drive up there.
Just exactly what does this mean ....will I be getting a date for surgery or will I wait for another call ???
I am HAPPY and EXCITED ...it seems so much more real right now .

if you have that appt, then mine must be close, either this month or in August. Can you believe it!!!!! Congratulations!

Thanks Casey_B , I hope that your call is right around the corner ....wouldn't it be a hoot if we got in on the same day !!! I woud love it . Will I get a surgery date on Monday ???

I tried calling today because I was so excited for you but they didn't call back. I think Monday is the Bariatric day so maybe I'll call again then. I believe you will get your date on the same day. It may even be this month. WOW!!!! He's on a roll now! Maybe when you see him, you could suggest that he forego his vacation this year and stay home to do surgeries! After all, what has he been doing since the end of October!!! And ask him if you could bring a friend with you on your surgery day to hold hands with while we have our surgeries together!!! Can't wait to hear from you on Monday or so!!! Drive carefully!!!
PS I listed you as my angel in my settings!!! So here's some fairy dust for both of us! You first!!!

Thanks again , Casey !!   I would litterly be flabergasted if I got a date earlier than August !!   I hear you , what has he been doing all winter & spring , does he really need holidays ??
I will bring a report back with me on Monday for sure.   We are leaving on Sunday to drive up and get a motel. So I will be gone for 2 days.

We will have to exchange information about the angels , when I get back . I will also tell my other half to be expecting a call .   Talk soon .

scared too. It feels real now that I got another call . My consoltation was on Oct,3o/08 . So they must be looking at the last 2 weeks of Oct now .
