I've had the surgery

Hi All,

Thanks for all your warm wishes, they must have done the trick.  I'm home....Surgery was on Monday, as planned.  Off to sleep I went and when I woke up it was done.  Something incredible has been happening in my life and I am really grateful.  I awoke from surgery with no pain, some tightness, but I did not need any pain medication the entire time in the hospital.  Dr. Ellsmere also repaired a hernia, which I didn't even know I had... so I got 2 surgeries for the price of one LOL.  The nurses and staff at the VG were wonderful and very supportive.  I walked the halls like crazy.  Trying to get the fluids in is quite the challenge, but I find it a little easier if I walk after I sip. So far so good.  I'm glad to be home. I feel great and will spend the next few days getting my liquids in and setting up my routine for success.
Thanks again to everyone.

So wonderful to get your news and know you are doing well, I had no doubts.  I'm 2 weeks today with my VSG and feel great too.  Keep me posted on how you are doing over the next couple of weeks, maybe we could share some liquid ideas.

To Sandra and Nadine     So happy and relieved that you have both done so well. I am going to send you both the information I promised as soon as I get home. I have it all in my binder. I am here in Antigonish until tomorrow. I have been here all week.

I am just so relieved that you have both done so well. You are paving the way for the rest of us hopeful and soon to be "loosers"
