My port has to come out and then i will have to let it heal for about two months then i can have a new port or i can have a gastric sleeve i `m thinking strongly about the gastric sleeve .I just had to share that with some one as i keep reading about everyone doing so well with there weight loss where its one pound or a hundred or not loseing but at least not gaining and here i am a years and a half out from surgery and i`m gaining not loseing its disappointing to say the least but may be theres hope yet anyways thanks for let me share jacqueline
Jacqueline sorry to hear that you've had so many problems. We all know going in that there are numerous potential thinkgs that could happen, but I don't think any of us think it will. The excitement of finally having the surgery so that we can reclaim our lives overshadows everything else.
At least you know what the problem is and how to solve it. Do all your homework and study on the sleeve as well. Each procedure has its advantages and disadvantages, Hang in there Jacqueline; don't lose sight of the prize. Your success is coming.

At is great that the problem has been solved, but you certainly had to go through a lot. I can't advise you on the gastric sleeve because I am still at the stage where I have a love hate relationship with my band. I certainly don't ever regret WLS, but I do have times when I wonder if there was a better option for me. The wondering happens on weeks when I am not losing or even gaining.
