5th fill today

 No wonder I,m not losing weight, checked my band again today under floroscopy for the fill level and its still 3cc the same amount they put in at the time of surgery when there should be a total of 13.5 cc, its very depressing.Still they cannot see a leak. , go figure. I,m beginning to hate this f.....ing thing.

Sorry that you are having so much trouble with the band  . Did they fill you again today ?   You should get to go back in a week or so & have it looked at again.  I hope that if you had a fill today , that it works good .

 yep they filled it again they say i have 7cc now which is really only 4 cc as the first three don't count towards the total., i know the fluid went in the other times too because restriction came back but only laste d7 days.he said come back in 6 weeks and if there is still only 3cc then there is a problem somewhere.

Sorry about your band trouble. This isn't the first time, is it? I seem to remember you posting with problems awhile back. Have you considered getting a revision to another kind of wls, or are you gtoing to stick with the band and get the problem fixed?

Your right its not the first time, I've only had good restrition for the first 2 months after surgery but im gonna stick with the band for now, i only really worry about the amount of radiation i,m receiving under floroscopy.men carry their weight around the middle making it difficult to access the port therefore probably making floroscopy more necessary for males. The needles are only four inches long so they think the other fills may not have gone into the band because im so thick around the middle .I think they did however because i got restriction even if only temporarily.So will see in 6 weeks, if there is only 3 cc in the band like the last 2  times I'll need a new band or I'LL JUST GET RID OF IT !!!
