surprise nsvs

It's amazing the little things you fail to notice. For example, when I drove my van, I always had to have the seat pushed back as far as my legs would allow. I had a hiuge belly and to avoid my belly rubbing too hard on the wheel and needed the seat pushed way back. So far back that my short legs just barely reached the gas pedal. The other day it occurred to me that I had pulled my seat all the way up to the second last click towards the wheel and my belly was barely touching.  It just dawned on me that I was reaching the gas pedal easily with no outstretched legs. YES!!!!

My next nsv was when I went  Walmart and needed to use the restroom. I have always used the handicapped washroom because with a 64 inch waist, I could barely fit into a regular stall. The other day I had to go and the handicapped stall was occupied so I stepped into a regular stall. OMG, I fit and could easily use the regular stall. Unless you have ever faced this obsticle, you have no idea how limiting it is to be so big. It does not sound like much but believe me it is a HUGE nsv. I am becoming a very happy individual in my advanced years.LOL :)

As I read your post , I thought you were writing about me (LOL) ,  mine are still real though.  I will be so glad when I have some of those little things happen to me .

Wonderful NSV's. After you lose a few pounds, there are so many NSV's everyday, little things that you just didn't dream of. Enjoy every one of them.

One of my favorites is not being able to go to the plus bins at Frenchy's anymore! LOL!! Being able to cross my legs in a ladylike manner is another one! So insignificant, but such milestones at the same time.
