Back I go...

I have an appointment at 1:30 on Friday in Moncton to talk to Dr. Beausoleil.  I'm having a lot of trouble these last few weeks.  I get stuck almost every day, at least this week, it's every day.  Lise thinks I need an unfill.  I probably do, but I think it's more than that.  It could be the gall bladder problem again, but i think it's more than that.  I don't know what, but it's just not right.  Could be a slip or something...I don't know.  But hopefully he will be able to fix me. I never have a good food day.  So wish me luck.  if anyone else is going to be there, let me know.  Patsy

Aww Patsy, you've had so much trouble since surgery and still you have perservered and lost weight. Hopefully it is just your gallbladder and it can be removed and all will be well. Wishing you all the best of luck sweetie. Hang in there. Fingers crossed it is not a slippage and it is just overfilled and all you will need is an unfill. Keep us posted.

Patsy, I'll be thinking of you and I hope Dr B can get to the root of the issue for you. I hate that you are having a tough go of this :(

I wish I could get up to Moncton tomorrow and meet up with you. Don't suppose you could "swing by" Saint John eh? Darn :)

Thanks every one for your well wishes.  I can't wait to feel great.  I have good days and bad but those stuck episodes are a killer.

Someone here asked what it feels like and all i can say is that it's an incredible pain in your breast bone right where the band would be.  Uncomfortable.  Really bad achy pain between your shoulder blades.  I rock, roll, twist and jump and nothing seems to help.  Mine usually last about 4 hours,  I've heard some say they get stuck and it's gone in 5 or 10 mins.  to me that is not stuck just slow.

Stuck is absolutely miserable.  Pain Pain Pain.  It makes you feel like you wish you could throw up to help relieve it, but you aren't supposed to.  the worst thing you could ever do is to take a drink to help unplug it.  It makes it worse, so don't try that.

So, to all of  you who haven't gotten stuck yet, DON'T!!!!!!  chew chew chew.  I do chew well but something keeps happening to me.

We shall see what Friday brings.  I want this to work so bad.  and I am doing well, but want to keep going in that direction.  I don't want any setbacks.
