First day on REAL food!

Well, today was my first day on real food.  I had cooked cereal for breakfast, broccoli, potatoes and hamburg (leftovers from last night's supper), and tonight for supper I had a toasted tuna sandwich.  Lunch wasn't perfectly smooth but I think I may have eaten a little too fast.  Supper on the other hand was wonderful!  I sent Rinette an email but didn't hear anything back - so I will try to call her tomorrow while I'm in Saint John.

I found these perfect containers at SuperStore.  They are glass with green and white snap on lids.  They come in different sizes.  The ones that I got hold 9 ozs.  They are the perfect size for taking leftovers to work.

So many positive things happening for folks right now - great to be part of it all!

Good for you! It may be the broccoli as "cruciferous" veggies like that are apparently harder for us to eat / digest.

Yes it is wonderful to be on real food again.  I have a feeling that I am wide open and without restriction.  Foods seem to slide on through without any discomfort.  I have and will continue to keep it healthy.  We are heading to Saint John in the am and will be stopping for breakfast - any suggestions as to what I should try???

Thanks for the warning :-)  I had thought that I might just pick off of DH's plate.  But he often gets an omelette so I guess that won't work.  If they have it I may go with toast and fruit salad?  That should be safe - in a small amount.

That is wonderful news that you can now eat some real food.  Enjoy your trip to Saint John.   I will be glad to get on the loosing side in the near future.

Suzanne, you seem to be coming along nicely.   Be careful with bread too.  Many banders can't eat bread either . Where you are going to be away from home, if I were you I'd stick to something that I know I can eat with no problem like cereal. I know it sounds boring but you really don't want to run into a problem when you are away from home.  Like getting stuck or something.

I try all new things at home first. I either dump or throw up on so many things that I won't tempt fate anywhere but home. That's just me.
