Received a phone call from Sharon at 6pm from Bathurst Hospital

I was wondering when your consult was in October. Mine was the 30th so I'm hoping for a call some time soon!!!!

 Mine was the 17th call this # and they can let you know if your on the call list 506  544-3710 or 1800-708-9998 this is for the hosp.
I called them and they looked then booked me for June 15th good luck keep me up to date.

Thanks, just read this and it's too late to call today but I will definitely call on Monday.

Well guys here is the scoop I have been talking to Sharon 2 times this morning the first time when I called her she was explaining to me that for some reason they couldn't find my original referral that was faxed on January 2nd and if I could get my doctors office to resend the original referral and once they received it they would make sure that it doesn't put me behind on the waiting list to 4 months thank goodness.  So I called my family doctors office and explained all this to the secretary and was so happy to know that she looked in my files and grabbed the original fax and it is stamped for Jan 2nd so she was going to resend my referral right away.  I had to give them the new fax number to fax it to the Diabetic Clinic at the Bathurst Hospital.  I am kind of let down but was reassured by Sharon that she will certianly be keeping an eye out for my fax and will call me right away once she gets word from the Diabetic Clinic.  She is such a sweetheart all I kept saying to her was "God love you"  She said once I get my first call for the consult she wants me to call her and let her know so that she can come over to the clinic and meet me.  I am getting a a nice Thank You card for being so patient and kind. 

Anyway I am relieved that I won't loose my place on the list now to get this referral in their hands. 

Well all I can say is now you are ready for that call! You got all the practice you need.

Yes this is for sure about getting the practice in indeed.  Poor Sharon she knows my voice now before I tell her who I am..lol  she is quite the trooper.  She said she would call me in a few days to let me know that the Diabetic clinic has received my referral.  She said she had a few people on her check list to make sure all was in place for them as well.  She said she would hate to see anyone drop down on the waiting list when they should be further up when the referrals were first faxed in.

The wait is on again..lol
