Received a phone call from Sharon at 6pm from Bathurst Hospital

Well it never fails, I had just nicely got in the tub for a nice relaxing bath and the phone rings but of course I didn't hear it and my DH just looked at the number showing up on the phone but didn't answer it  (can we say grrrrrrrrrrrrrr) but thank goodness Sharon left a message on my phone to call tomorrow morning after 8am.  So here is to hoping that is is a call about my first consult or some good news.  As soon as I get home tomorrow morning from work I will be calling the hospital to speak with Sharon and find out what the message is.  I am crossing my fingers and toes and anything else I can cross for good luck in the morning.  Once I talk with her I will be on here to let you guys know what is going on..woohooo....Maybe we will all get our calls that are still waiting for our first consults and it will happen sooner then expected....who knows.

I hear you Suzanne, I am not sure why Sharon would be calling me as I thought it is someone else now that does the calling but then again maybe she is the one calling people for the very first consult only and setting up those appointments and then the diabetic clinic does the second consults or what have you.  Well tonight will not end soon enough for me and for 8am tomorrow morning to come...lol  I hope it is good news...I am like a little child at Christmas time so excited about opening my christmas gifts..hahaha

 Good luck Whitney - I hope it is the call you've been waiting for.  It is sooo exciting to have so many getting calls for initial appointments, consults and/or surgery dates.  Fantastic! 

Oh I know I hope that is what Sharon was calling for was for the initial first consult...will know tomorrow morning...and I will be sure to post right after...lol

I remember when I was waiting for calls and my DH didn't take a message- he just gave them my work number, which they didn't call, driving me crazy until the next day. It only took a couple of days for him to recover enough to be mobile!!LOL

Well Charline my DH should recover maybe in a few days depending on how I am feeling (lol) the doghouse (I would say the cathouse instead because we only have a cat not a dog but that wouldn't sound right) so we will go with doghouse is the best place for him at this time. 

I am so hoping that Sharon is the one doing the calls and setting up the first consults for us and then the diabetic clinic is the ones for setting up the second consult.  Look I am so excited right now I can hardly contain myself tonight at work and I have all night to stew on this and get very worked up.  I get off work at 7am and it takes me a half hour to get home or so and then I STILL have to wait another half hour until 8am rolls around to even call Sharon and I hope she is in her office then because her phone will be a ringing...let me tell you.    Men I don't know   why they have to stand in front of the bloody phone and just look at it like it is an alien and are afraid to answer it.  When he came into the bathroom and told me that the Bathurst Hospital just called I almost ran out of the bathtub naked if you can imagine to call Sharon back then I realized that my son Brandon had his friend out in the livingroom and I am sure I would have put him into a state of shock.  Would have been a pretty scene I would think. 

Waiting patiently for tomorrow morning to hurry up and get here....

Instead of sleepless in Seatle I am sleepless in Saint John New Brunswick ...lol

Thank you Macaulie I hope this is the start of phone calls for people waiting for the first consult and I am hoping Sharon is the one setting the first consults up for us.  Because I am not too sure who is doing the initial appointments for the consults but I do know that the diabetic clinic does the second ones from what I am understanding on here.

 Hi there,Just want to let you know that I got a call a few weeks ago and I go to Bathurst on June 15th,

I seen Dr Savoie in Oct and was waiting and waiting for the call as he said in the new year.So I called them and they said I was booked to see him June 15th the appt for the lap band they said may be in aug as he was not doing any in july,So that is good news.I will know more on the 15th..

Hope the call was for your appt too.

And yes it is the Diabetic clinic that I have to go too.
