Welcome - you must be so excited that things are moving along finally so quickly.
I had RNY surgery in Montreal in June 2008 - I have about 20 lbs to go to reach my goal. I have some of my pics on my profile so you can see my before and after-
I am in the Halifax area as well and we do get together for support group meetings - add me to your friends list and I will make sure that you get the info about meetings- they are every other month with an educational component to learn about life after weight loss surgery.
Some of us get together for a coffee or lunch in between meetings so let me know if you are interested. We would like to work on getting the social support group up and running so there is more sharing stories and ideas and getting to know each other.
