would like to chat with anyone who has band problems
hi i need to talk to anyone that has had problems with there lap bands i need advise from experienced lapbanders my problems are that i am thinking of haveing my band removed due to all my problems i never had health problems except beening over weight now i seem to be haveing all kinds of problemsi had a hernia surgery after i got my band seven weeks later my port fliped over had to have that fixed now my doctor thinks i have ulcers from throwing up so much not to mention my band sliped thats fixed now i have to take several kinds of pills so i can eat its affecting my life has anyone had problems with there bands bad enough they had to have them removed and if so did you go for any other weight lost surgery and if so what did you have and did it work at the end of my rope any ideas would be helpful jacqueline
Hi Jacqueline, sorry you are having so many problems. I haven't had those issues but I did just find out that I have gall stones which cause pain. I think you should chat with the folks on the revision board, they have had bands removed and then had bypass or other revisions. they would be a great resource for you. See what they say. What does Dr. B say?

Wow, it looks like you have had your band for awhile too. Have you ever had problem from the get-go or are they just rescent problems. Was the weight loss successful? What is Dr. B saying? I tchecked your profile but there is very little information there. I am hoping to have the VSG simply because I live near Halifax and I wasn't sure there were professionals nearby to do the fills. What is your GP saying about your problems. Going to the revision website is very good advice indeed but you have to talk to your doctors first.
