2nd fill under my belt, literally !!!

I had a great day.  beautiful day for a drive to Moncton.  Doctor was running on time and I got my fill.  He put in 1 cc under fluoro and then added .5 more.  they took the .5 back out but am happy with the increase of 1cc to my original 4cc's.

He also gave me the results of my abdominal ultrasound which I had as a result of the pains in my stomach.  I have gall stones.  WHO KNEW????  I sure didn't.  He said since it's not acting up right now that he is leaving it alone.  but if it flares up again, he'll look at it again.

At least it explains the pain i had been having.  I'm just so glad it wasn't band related !!!! yay !

Anyway, he said he'd see me again in 6-8 weeks, so hopefully that will happen.

I should be able to hit that 100 lbs mark now.

that is great news that it is not your band that was causing your pain, even though gall stones can be very painfull....I hope you don't get any more pains or another bout of gall stones.  With this fill you should notice a difference.

Gall stones are da debbil!! I'm so sorry that you're having to go through the pain of them. They are miserable. My doctor wants me to get my gallbladder out, but I'm waiting for the good Dr. Savoie to yank it out because I really don't want to have to undergo 2 surgeries.

Gall Stones are horrible.  I had mine out last summer. The gall bladder was impacted with stones. Too bad they don't look at all of this stuff when they are doing other surgeries. Glad your fill went great and now the weight will keep on going down. Cheers for you from me.

Yay Patsy - another step in the process taken care of.  I so need a fill.  I am struggling daily but hanging in there.  I know that you are going to have good results with this fill.  You were lucky to have the doctor running on time.  I go on May 27 and I am hoping ot see Rinette if I can.  I may call her next week to make sure I can see her.

As for the doctor wanting to see you in 6 weeks I suggest you do what I did and call Nathalie next week and make your own appointment.  I did that and had no problem getting in for the 6th week.  I will be doing the same thing this next fill. 

You will be hitting that 100 pound down goal in no time now. 

Good thoughts going your way with the gall bladder thing.  Hope it behaves and you dont end up needing surgery for that.
