Ice cream!!! Ice cream!!! I dream of ice cream. LOL I won't even try ice cream. I dumped so bad on chocolate milk awhile ago I thought I was going to die. I dumped on bran flakes just as bad last week. This part sucks so bad because summer is coming and I don't eat a lot of ice cream or sweets anyway but on really really hot days I loved slurpies or 1/2 an ice cold beer, or ice filled glass of pepsi. I won't be having any of these this summer. I go into convenience stores now while out for a drive and there ia NOTHING in there that I can eat or drink. I won't risk dumping when I am away from home. It is just too awful.

Oh Charline you mentioned ice cream and I almost drooled, don't know why. I'm not a big ice cream fan. I do buy sugar free popsicles. Thyat might be an answer for you Charine. Guilt free.

Aww Charline, let sugar free popsicles be your methadone. After awhile you will not want that sugar laden ice cream. Think of all of the sugar and calories in it. I buy the icream filled popsicle with the orange covering. It is almost like an orange creamsicle.

I told hubby to take my "heroin" to work with him and next time I am dying for a fix, I will buy a baby cone, not bring home a 4 day supply. Chocolate and ice cream and nuts- it inhumane to ask a foodie to resist. While I was not an angel today (I had to drive to Halifax, sit through a 2 hour meeting and drive back today) eating on the road, I resisted temptation or made a better choice many times. Just like any 12 step type program, it's one day at a time.

You are just human Charline and to err is human. I don't know where I'd be now without my rny. Not with this much weight loss for sure. I would not be able to resist with willpower alone. I do have a much bigger deterrent. Dumping, that will stop you in your tracks to even think of it happening. You will do alright. One day at a time. One foot in front of the other. You know the drill.
